My theory on what actually might've happened at the end of episode 4

Remember, it's all just a hypothesis. As it's an original anime, there's no way to know the real story beforehand.

First, watch this video commercializing E-soul


From this video, we see two E-souls' here. One is the original one, and the other one is... idk. Maybe his dark self or something? Anyway, my theory is that the one who killed Moon might be the fake E-soul. Perhaps by that cliffhanger, the narrative wanted to clear the stage for E-soul to take the spotlight, hinting at the next arc.

@Snowikin I think that's the case for most of the viewers. Only those who were keeping an eye on this anime long before and watched all the trailers and pv's would know this

@Spoof_490 That's not what I meant. We already know from the schedule that E-soul is gonna be the next mc. What I'm saying is that they made a connection between the two arcs by introducing E-soul at the end. Like some people might find it weird if they suddenly switch main character without any lore

I didn't know about the PVs or the actual schedule on that end, but thank you for introducing us and prolly many others to the existence of these PVs. I'll keep myself in the dark regarding the sched.

That being said, I remember watching the original To Be Hero and seeing this pop donghua pop out of nowhere and didn't even think there was a connection. Though with the more recent To Be Heroine, there might be, given the power system that they put in place. I wonder if they'll tie it all in with these interdimensional/future hero (probably E-soul) stuff.

@Acquae You should check out all the other PVs! They have separate PVs for all the top 10 heroes.

btw, as you said, did To be Heroine have the same power system as To be Hero X? I didn't bother to watch the prequels because I heard they have no connection to each other.
