So does this LN actually suck?

I was surprised to see the light novel have such a terrible rating, especially with how unlikely tourists are to actually read. Did they just reviewbomb this or does it actually suck in your opinion?
Only watched 1 Episode of the anime so far so I don't really care how it compares.
