The line about "The legendary monster that can destroy Moon colonies" in the preview was a lie after all, moreover this was an excellent episode and better than what the preview showed.
This episode turned Enigma arc from a weak arc to a great one, the plot twist really made a huge impact on the entire arc.

I know this "programmed to recover memory" trick is a "Death Note" parody, but was it necessary for her to use such a risky plan? She would have almost been killed by Shiro Amakusa if Amabie hadn't been there.
Like many people, I thought that Ritsuro was an NPC possessed by AI Da Vinci, but it turns out that he was a character that never existed in the first place, which made me shiver as well.

The best part for me was how the NPCs from the previous stages came together to try to find Sawyer again and help him, even though this part was a bit short but the way this development really touched me, hopefully Kite, Max and Carry will appear in the next episode too.

The final mission failed and as Amabie prophesied it looks like Morris, Rabbi, Yukinoji and the other characters will have to band together to help Sawyer in the final battle. And that would definitely be a great finale.

Is next episode the final one? As the official X hasn’t said anything but AniList and MAL have capped their episode counts at 97

If I had to guess Amabie is real main NPC of this arc while is Ritsuro was a decoy since he or rather she is Da Vinci.

Also it looks like the previous NPCs are becoming aware what is going on but unlike Da Vinci they remain helpful.

While bummed we didn’t get see Sawyer and Luna love confession they made up with having several ship tease moments so even without a confession I be still happy they become a couple at the end maybe akin to Dan and Runo at end of generation 1 Bakugan season 1.

Also I am curious about Penta’s fate also after this episode hopefully Mika gets locked away but this time in the highest prison.

It is. MAL has updated but after next episode the time slot is being given to Gegege no Kitaro reruns.

Okay, remember when I asked as to what happened to the real Ritsuro Kano in the previous episode? Well, apparently, I was wrong; it turns out that there is no Ritsuro Kano.

I’ll go ahead and say it: What a wild ride this has been. When this is all over, who knows, someday I’ll relive the roughly three year journey by watching it all over again.

Obviously the next episode is the last one. Director Kohei Kureta confirmed this.

When AI Da Vinci escaped through a small wormhole to create the identity of Ritsuro Kano, she must have infiltrated the Story Synapse of the Final stage to rewrite its story into a journey to collect the pieces of Pandora's box and also made herself the main NPC of that story. If Amabie was the real main NPC, Chrono Inc. would have immediately realized that Ritsuro wasn't the NPC in the game.

The other NPCs are still unaware of themselves as just game characters and the existence of the real world like AI Da Vinci. But the fact that they made it this far is amazing. I thought they would disappear after the game was over, but they're still there, always looking to see Sawyer again, which is the best scenario of the show so far.

I can see Penta and Mika being favorite characters of the anime staff so Penta will definitely be fine and even have some use in the final battle, and Mika is definitely the biggest plot hole of the show so far, by normal logic she shouldn't even be allowed to participate in the Moon World Colony Championship.

As tv tropes puts it Mika and Penta are probably Creator’s pets characters fans usually hate or get sick while creators love probably doesn’t help more popular characters like Rabbi, Yukinojo and Sid had to left out this time around.

It’s understandable Sawyer(protagonist), Luna(heroine/love interest), and Sigma(the main rival) stick around.

Interestingly a Japanese blogger posts who post pictures of show seems to hate Luna and wonders why is she still here despite the fact she is main heroine sure Rabbi took over in USA arc but after that she share that role with Rabbi in Paris and Time Travel arcs until Enigma arc where is once again the sole main heroine plus she probably only one arc for her character being if she and Sawyer will get together in the end.

Honestly I don’t mind if there’s no confession as long Sawyer and Luna get together I am happy.

I knew that blog before Tousouchuu anime aired, I remember he really liked Luna during the first year, maybe times have changed.
Apparently I was also a fan of Luna during the first year, before Rabbi and AI Da Vinci came out in the second year. Luna was the reason I jumped into watching Tousouchuu, otherwise I probably would have skipped it.

One of reasons I stick around is hoping Sawyer and Luna actually hoping get together especially during the Paris arc the ship teases were strong in that arc. Again sorry being a broken as long they get together at the end I will be happy.

The awakening Sawyer, or the divine Sawyer, is the hottest version of Sawyer yet. If Lunar doesn't make a move on him yet I'll make him mine.

With that said, I always like episodes with a lot of hunters. But can I get more child hunter please?
