| It's idol time! 🎤🎵 Decent start with a nice OP/ED and transformation. I really like Cure Idol's character design. Hopefully we'll hear a lot of good music as the story progresses. |

| Kirakiland may have been destroyed or something, but that don't stop Purirun from enjoying the city. Kinda a missed opportunity not having a transformation that happens while singing, but at least for the final attack she sings. |

| Ahhh here we go folks, time for another amazing year of precure!! Happy precure day to all who celebrate. This first episode surpassed my expectations, I knew I was going to love this show but now I’m convinced it could be my fave precure ever just one ep in 😂 love Cure idol sm already! This whole episode felt like a Dora the explorer scene where she’s asking the audience where obvious stuff is, like girl you ARE cure idol lmao. Team Chokkiri seem like they’ll be pretty fun. Big fan of the female leader, might be Zakuro’s ender already lol? RIP Kirakiland. I wonder what happened to make it go dark and hopefully Purirun gets reunited with her friends and family one day. The transformation scene was soooo good!!! Omg both Uta base form and cure form are sooo pretty. As I thought, the performances are the attacks that’s so dope. Even the villains have no choice but to stan lol! Great first episode, set the tone very well and as a massive idol fan I’m very excited! |

| Looks like physical fights are on the cards again this season and the idol performance being the finishing attack. I love that they incorporate gingham style on their precure forms, very fitting for idols. |

The episode could have better, I think. Uta knew she was the Idol Pretty Cure, Purirun knew it, and so did everyone watching, but clearly she didn't want to admit it. I especially felt that the part with the big, sumo-looking guy was kind of dumb to be honest. I also thought it was kind of lame that it took having to "show her courage" for her to finally get the hint. For what it's worth, I'm personally glad that she didn't outright "refuse the call" and have the show take several episodes (or even a whole story arc) for her to become a Pretty Cure...
Also, I don't agree with the Crunchyroll subtitles "translating" "Chokkiri-dan" as "Team Chokkiri". This isn't Pokémon, where "Team Rocket" was never really an accurate translation in the first place. Of course, that translation could have been Nintendo's idea, but still. Personally, I think "The Chokkiri Gang" would be more accurate.
I guess the next episode is about going viral? I'm not sure what will happen, but I do hope they don't constantly "remind" everyone of Uta's reluctance....

It's a bit different compared to other anime where CR or other streaming service handles the translation and subtitles. |

| A pretty by-the-books start, but the last time a Precure series tried something different, we got a series with no villainous presence for half the season and pretty much no action scenes so playing it safe doesn't sound so bad right now. |

| First of all, when you think of an Idol versioned Precure, you will first see the OP and ED. Imo they were great! Purirun, another cute companion just like the Precure way! I think I'm gonna love the conversation between them. Uta is a bright girl and no doubt of her being a Idol Precure! It's nice shift from watching Wonderful Precure which is good in it's own way, but I'm more of this kinda Precure fan tbh. So I'm looking for a treat! |

| i couldn’t stop laughing when they sent that random man down the river. also the ending is SO good it has to be one of my favourite precure endings, the song that idol sings during her attack is also really good!! |
| We finally got kicks and punches back! Never thought i would be so happy to see it again, the designs are cute as expected, and we already know most of the villains, not needing to wait like 20-25 episodes for it, this is already better than the last one. |

| It was surprisingly bold of them to make a whole Precure season last only one episode, and 11 minutes of run time at that. I kinda liked how manipulative was Purirun, the OP was fine but I liked a lot more the ED, costumers are lovely and that new villainess is pretty hot, decent start. I'm just glad that proper fights are back on the menu. |
| Happy Precure day everyone~~ The fake ending was hilarious. I also am really happy with Uta as a character, and I feel the singing really works for Precure! I have high hopes for the season ^^ |

| This year is the 15th Anniversary of HeartCatch PreCure and the 10th Anniversary of Go! Princess PreCure. Two of the top-tier PreCure anime shows and the best magical girls of the genre. I hope this new Precure anime You and Idol Precure will live up to being a perfect 10/10 like HeartCatch PreCure and Go! Princess PreCure and not end up being the infamous 2020 critical disaster that is Healin' Good PreCure... |

Everyone have their favs and their least fav seasons, but is worth watching. I hope you enjoy them! I saw some complains about the subtitles, I also laughed when I saw the way they translated some things in spanish (my actual language) but is ok, as long as we can watch and have fun! I’m doing mahoutsukai first like I said so I can watch mirai days then I got to finish some other stuff like Gundam and I’ll tap into Futari. |
