For those of you who haven't seen the old adaptation and are curious about it (or verse versa), in this thread I will highlight the best parts that you can go ahead and watch to compare between the two versions (so far we're at episode 39 of the remake).

Episode 23 of the remake (Kenshin vs Saitou) and its counterpart episode 29-30 from Kenshin (1996).
Episode 39 of the remake (Kenshin learns the ultimate technique) and its counterpart episode 43 from Kenshin (1996).

Of course I think both adaptations are good, the remake has a consistent quality and modern-friendly directing and pacing (and no fillers), while the older adaptation had a more interesting atmosphere and memorable music.

If you guys are interested I'll make a thread like this one again for future episodes, but for now I highly recommend you check out both versions, please share me your thoughts if you do.

Nice thread, I've really enjoyed the remake so far but I don't remember much of the original adaptation so it's great to review this differences.
