Same. Figure after Liz got the book she figured something out about being a saint and got ahold of the prince. It was amusing and anticlimactic all at the same time.

We've been fooled so hard haha....but hey...it also somewhat serves as a redemption for Liz.

The ending is somewhat anti-climactic and could be better...but it does make me hope for a S2

I had already sharpened my pitchfork, and it turns out Liz was the same kind, pure, well-intentioned woman that she was expected to be as a Saint!

Modern heel turns have ruined my character development expectations.
