Voice actors Tasuku Hatanaka (Yubisaki to Renren) and Daiki Yamashita (Horimiya) are joining the cast as Yuzuru Kido and Shou Kobayakawa, respectively.

Yoshiaki Okumura (Shinka no Mi) is directing the anime at SynergySP. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Net-juu no Susume) is handling the script and series composition. Mayumi Watanabe (Taishou Otome Otogibanashi) is designing the characters. Akiyuki Tateyama (Yuru Camp△) is composing the music.

Kuze began drawing the manga, abbreviated as Medakawa, in Weekly Shounen Magazine in May 2021. Kodansha published the 16th volume on October 17, with the 17th volume going on sale on Tuesday. Medakawa has a cumulative 1.9 million copies of its volumes in print.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The 14th e-book volume was released on October 8, with the ninth physical volume shipped on November 12.
