This episode gone from "Let's knit scarfs and socialize" to "Time to begin building bridges that will be part of the conclusion."
Mayu almost had Zakuro, but Yuki was too direct.

Just 8 episode to go, huh.

You knit for someone you clothe them for a day, you teach someone how to knit, you clothe them for a season… or something like that lol. I think Mayu teaching the other kids how to knit was a way better gift than just making things for them and it lets them give the people they care about homemade gifts!

Oh my goodness yuki looks so cute with her homemade scarf 😍 of course she don’t want no one else to get one from Mayu lmao

Iroha making one for Satoru is so cute too. I know he gonna be on the moon when he gets it

Mayu so good at knitting even zakuro wanted in, things were going so well until Yuki brought up Gaou.. but she was right honestly and even if Zakuro reacted negatively leading into this week’s fight, you can tell she’s gonna be thinking about it going forward and might change. They harped on Gaou doing anything for friends. I reckon he probably started being “evil” to keep Subaru away so he wouldn’t feel bad about not meeting with Gaou anymore.

Great ep!

I'm quite sad that wolf in Japan is extinct, but on the other hands I see news about bears attack Japanese people almost every day (219 incidents resulting in 6 deaths in year 2023 alone). So even if wolves survive it'd likely result in the same conflict as bears. There is no easy answer on how human can co-exist with wild animals.

The show sure spun an interesting "yarn" this week. Mayu tries to "weave" new friendships by teaching the rest of the class to knit, after everyone sees Yuki's new scarf, even though Yuki never cared about fashion before. Then Zakuro gets involved, until she remembers being in love with Gaou, who wants to destroy all humans. Personally, I never knew that Zakuro was such a "crab". Fortunately, the Pretty Cures were able to save the freshwater crab she had turned evil. Does this mean they made it less "crabby?"

"Lots of Happiness", huh? The name does sound like it could be about anything, but I guess in this case, there's going to be lots of happiness when they meet an older lady, and the dog that's been with her for 18 years.

Freshwater crabs can breath both air and water? I never knew that before...

It was so cute to see Zakuro with the sticks trying to weave, I was hoping she would manage to weave for a bit with Mayu.
