As the title suggests. Given that the anime only has 12 episodes and the manga has 15 volumes, does the anime cover everything or is it a rushed adaptation too?

Anime abruptly ends somewhere in the middle of manga, but it is definitely worth looking at. I first watched the anime and then read the manga. I don't read manga at all, but anime caught me up, and it was fine in this order

I highly recommend both. It’s neither a full adaptation nor a rushed one, but it’s a pretty faithful adaptation that elevates many of the scenes in the manga.

Manga is based on narration, which we won't see in anime, and I believe people who say anime sucked couldn't understand what was happening on screen because it wasn't explained to them directly.

I recommend watching two episodes. If you'll feel lost, then I guess you should read manga.

It's not rushed adaptation. It ends around chapters 31-32, and manga has 84 if I remember right

Okay thanks, I was getting mixed replies here so it seems like one of those series where I think I would have to read and watch both

You definitely should just to see how it ends. Tbh reading manga after I watched anime clarified some things (eg sucking on mortal wound in the last episode). I really wish they could stick to narration/gave narrator bigger role, then we could get the whole adaptation

do both, if you're short on time then read the manga. The anime has flawless visuals and an impressive dub. but the pacing is so horribly slow. even though i myself found it tedious at some parts, I'd still 100% the show to people.
