Doing a rewatch

I watched this show 3 years ago but I had to stop on silver soul as I think it wasn't finished. So I didn't complete the story, really enjoyed it and I'm currently on episode 10 on a rewatch and got 2 questions.

Can I skip the otsu episode 157-163 as I found it so long and boring.

Also is it finished when I watch the final after the silver soul arc?

yes it's finished with the film FINAL :)

am I the only one who thought the otsu arc was cute?

Edit: Is the Otsu arc you are talking about the one where there was a competition with the shinsengumi, the random french guy and our trio? If yeah I found it pretty hilarious.

I don't dislike the otsu arc, it's more that I swear it lasted like 7 or 8 episodes, if it was trimmed down by half it proberly be alot better!

it felt like the same length of serious arcs.

yeah I reckon, it's hilarious especially knowing the characters backstories better and how to show there feelings.

aha gintoki stonic side, especially knowing why him and otuse care for each other.

fair enough, I just got my boyfriend into gintama recently and we finished this arc a few weeks back and he only like the Takatin moments aha.

yeah that's the arc, it was good just went on for Soooooo long aha

I can definetly see why one can find it too long. The whole overly exaggerated fanclub was bit too much, but the competition and Kondo the only one getting fcked hard by Otsu-chan was absolutely hilarious. 😂

Otsu arc is skipable as long as you watch a taka-tin compilation on youtube

omg thank you, I'm glad cause I don't think I could stomach it, the only arc in the show that drags on.

I'll watch that on youtube when I reach 157, currently on episode 10.
