| Would make for a great anime IF the rampant homophobia was curtailed. As well, too often the author embarks on overlong quips that destroy the pacing of interactions bt characters. I'm assuming he just doesn't understand how to write good banter, what with characters launching into these forced casual diatribes against other characters, desperately trying to convey how cool, composed, or OP they or the situation are. Needs a more insightful editor's touch. Will be very curious to see if this ever gets a manga adaptation. Story feels like it's written for middle schoolers, but there's plenty in there for older audiences, if we could just get some polish on it. |
