This one looks so over that yeah, doing a loop would’ve been a very wise result, though then again, it might not have changed anything in the end, because someone like Capella exists, but yeah, watching Emilla being completely and utterly clueless over everything which happened around her over the course of this entire bit does feel a lot discouraging lol. But yeah, I liked how this arc threw a lot of characters into the mix, and tried to keep all of them relevant, at the same time, unlike many other shows. Priscilla might not sound the most humble person to the ears, but that entire bit with her helping out Subaru already justified her character in this arc. Though, Subaru still being capable of walking around and reason with people, even after every textbook misery he went through in the last couple of episodes is actually really something lol… more than what Emillia’s escape looks like. Add that AMBITIOUS speech of his in the end, I mean we know, it won’t be easy at all, as what the history tells in this series, but yeah, that’s some way to keep you and people around yourself motivated. So yeah, build up they’ve done and now we know things will go south in the next two episodes. Very spoiler-ish revelation in the end tho. |

Aight. This was another crazy AF episode. The animation was very well done, especially the part with Priscilla unleashing her Yang sword. Even the CG was quite good. But what THE ABSOLUTE FUCK was that post-credit scene????? Somebody explain that to me. Also, my LN reader kyodai’s, what’s the cut content for today’s episode?! |

This episode was a bit slower than usual. Nothing wrong with that. Especially since the last few episodes were a roller coaster ride. You can tell that this episode is a setup for the next 2 episodes, which will be the last episodes of this cour, the Attack part. The Counterattack part will begin airing in February ICYMI. Damn, this dragon blood is really convenient. Not only did it give him some new bandages but also it brought back his shoe. Wonder how that happened. The highlight of this episode was probably the Priscilla scene. That was so gorgeous. The 3D shot looked impressive. It's too bad the demibeasts were CGI tho. Tho I guess it's not the worst CGI I've seen. I can give it a pass cause the previous episodes looked so good and this episode also looked very beautiful, especially the Priscilla scene I mentioned. The scenes with Emilia sneaking around were also very good. I love how the city looks when the sun is setting. Liliana's VA is doing an amazing job. I'm so glad she isn't half-assing it. All the VAs have been amazing so far. Especially the new ones. The ending scene with Subaru's pledge was amazing. My man has grown up so much. It's satisfying to see. I can't wait for the next episode. |

BTW I should add that if you haven't been watching Re:ZERO Break Time then I highly recommend doing so. They aren't just chibi extras but are basically essential side stories for the main anime that contain important lore or things that were cut from the anime. The last 3 or so Break Time episodes had some very important info or major lore drops that likely won't be covered in the main anime. At least not any time soon. Here's the last Break Time episode subbed- |

The Demibeast-CG looked completely fine for me. It's only spice for this arc (I'm glad if the next arc got better treatment though). Liliana's singing scene was well done. Other parts were also visually beautiful (how the colors they are using for noon time really buffed the episode). Pristella is such an amazing city, even after being destroyed by the flood. Next ep should be one of the best episode in Re:Zero anime |

One of the weaker episodes this season however that’s not a bad thing to say as it sets up next episodes nicely. The direction is still great. The episode and story are still top notch and its final minutes are phenomenal. I am still looking forward for the next episode. |

Now thats a curious method to wake someone with. Nice that we got to see how Priscilla fights. The power of wrath sure took advantage of the tempers of the trapped cits thats for sure. Lelianna's song was pretty good and served well to showcase her value as an asset to the cast. Still it really shows how adapt the witch cult is in harming people as it has the capability to do so physicially and mentally. Its gonna be a tough fight but looking forward to seeing the cast counterattack. |

Liliana is like moving Disney by this point :P When we are in crisis? Let's Sing. Her song in refuge reminds me of Mermaid Melody lolz Regulus, the character I hate the most from LN is finally showing why he's so hated. Basically other Arch bishops are just like lunatics, you can't relate with them that much cuz you'd just think they're bet shit crazy. Regulus, however, is like some nasty and self center violent dude that pull straight out from real world, which has immense relatability. If you do anything that displease his current feeling, he just straight up kill you, and he has the gut to say he love all his wives equally. Basically he treats them like disposable decorations and nothing more. In fact Regulus's personality reminds so much about my older brother, which makes me hate him even more. |

Mostly just regroup and setup for the upcoming episodes and ofc Priscilla being badass. Her bringing out a flame sword out of her chest was cool af. Been really liking her a lot. Good song from Liliana again. Emillia doing recon all alone but it's working. Good speech from Subaru. |

This was the weakest episode so far, simply because of its construction, with a pacing that will alienate viewers coming from previous episode - concocted by a repeat exposition and a sufficiently long insert song to say the least. Some of the shots lacked novelty and background music just stopped altogether. Headscratchers like the dragon's fate or what happened during Julius vs Lye would permeate naturally into the audience' mind. However, it doesn't fail to display Prisicilla's idealogy, Spymilia and Knightbaru. They kinda arranged things in a way that will make the next couple of episodes elite. |

I’ll keep saying this but I find it so funny how different Regulus is to the rest of the archbishops. Like be nice and he’s just a normal dude. And seriously Subaru’s character development has been ridiculous since s1 like dam he’s come so far |

Subaru continuing his weirdly sturdy run(well at least of how I perceive Re;zero). I guess episode 8 will be the important Re part. I hope so, I want Crusch and Mimi well. That's was very efficient, how the the water level gone back to normal very fast. Subaru "Yes I met a witch, and have an artificial spirit. Nothing special." |

I wasn't expecting Subaru to get his leg back, although it is infused with dragon blood, hence the way it looks. Either way, we got to see Priscilla and Liliana once again as the pair rescued him. The demibeasts are another threat towards our group, but seeing how Priscilla took care of them was impressive. The CGI usage on the enemies and the camerawork while Priscilla unleashed her skills was pretty good overall. Not to forget, since we have Liliana, it wasn't long before she broke out into another song and the one she performed in a shelter to snap the citizens out of the witches trance was very pleasant and catchy. =) Regulus continues to be a piece of work, although he is less chaotic with how he talks compared to the other deranged sin archbishops. His anger towards Capella does show that none of them like each other, but it did help Emilia to know where she was and taking one of his communication tools in the post-credit scene was a risky move that paid off. Overall, this was a nice episode. Subaru showing his resolve to save everyone does show how far he has come since season 1, so I do look forward to seeing him and the others getting back on their feet to work out a new plan to take down the sin archbishops. Fingers crossed they'll be more successful this time around. |

I am the same type of fool and peasant that Priscilla describes the townspeople in the shelter as because I am ALWAYS captivated and taken in with the emotion of whatever is on screen during this show!! Every week it’s an amazing voice acting performance mixed with excellent audio direction to make us feel the gravitas of the situation Subaru faces! It always goes by so quick! |

Good ep, but probs the weakest so far. minor nitpicks that kinda lost my immersion: Witch Cult threatened to flood the city if their demands are not met, but they already did. And yet, Pristella is not flooded anymore without explanation, though it does still look to be destroyed. (I assume the water left through the other control towers after the flood gate closed back up.) Don't know if anime onlies will understand that the scene of the Garm and dragon in Subaru's head was the lingering curses fighting one another and finding a balance. (he was still cursed after the garm, but it can't be activated since they all died.) Dragons blood somehow restoring Subaru's bandages (and shoe). I thought his leg was supposed to turn black not look like the muscles are visible? but I could be misremembering. and the CGI beasts, tho considering their short screentime I can see why they decided to make them CGI. Do still with they had changed up Subaru's outfit since he's been in the same tracksuit for almost all of three seasons. but we also got a pumped up pep talk from Subaru, got to see Emilia break out and try to get info on the Witch Cult for Subaru and his group, A Wonderful musical display from Lilliana, and a show of force from Pricilla. (though I do feel like the scene of her cutting the beasts while they just floated there in air went on too long.) |

OMG Aldebaran is connected to the Witch's Cult!!! Wtf is he doing? Is Priscilla aware of this? She's so strong btw. I wasn't expecting her to be as strong as Emilia basically. As we guessed, Lilianna was the key to undoing Wrath's spell on everyone in the city. Regulus is being even more of a creep and Emilia is RE'ing her way around his watch. Subaru's got his goals clear and regrouped with his people. It's about to go down next episode. 5/5 |

@Laplace_kun I agree that it's the slowest ep but they did a fantastic job with the pacing. It still felt hurried but they kept the key ideas intact. They shortened a lot of the dialogue to not make it overbearing on anime-only people Disagree with the shots though, there was plenty of fantastic art direction and there was definitely some great OST usage |

@Invisible_King It was established that the cult may not have been responsible for the flooding. Can't say more but Regulus and Capella talk about it this episode |

The takeover of the city is underway, how will Subaru save everyone? It's pretty nice to see some of the other characters get some screen time, like Priscilla for example, who really showed off how strong she was in this episode. As for everyone else, it's good to see them taking a proactive approach to things, especially Emilia, who was actively working to try to help out the situation by getting info from Regulus, and for Subaru, I'm honestly surprised he hasn't died and reset yet, but with his leg being healed, I suppose he'll try to push through this. Only two episodes left in the first cour, and I just get the feeling we're gonna be left on a cliffhanger by the end of this. |

Subaro pretty overconfident there, keeping playing cool even if it should kill him. Well i would be confident too if I could redo everything anytime I guess. Or knew I am main protagonist. Emilia, she is crazy for not running away can't she just make some ice water slide or something to get away quick... wait... Al??? Did that crazy japanes bastard already defeated someone from the cult and took meetia from him? |

Dope episode, Subaru gives a sweet speech ngl. Intrigued to see how they plan to get through this though - I mean given that Greed, Lust, Gluttony and Wrath are all shown to be deadly bastards who can screw with most heroes/knights on the show. |

That's what I was fearing and it happened. Subaru survived but now Crusch got cursed. And unlikely she can be reset. That's that then for Crusch, at best she is Remmed and at worst she is gone. It hurts, not more than Felis but... Best thing about this episode was Priscilla acting nice for once. The demi beasts fight was steller visually. Never was a fan of her but after today maybe she deserve smore credit. Despite acting tsundere she is still helping out people with Liliana. Liliana song was rare nice relaxing thing int he middle of shit show. Good song too. Regeulus is becoming shittier and better as a villain same time. Emilia walked a thin ice (literally). Al',s secrecy maybe revealed now. What annoyed me was Subaru. Yes Ecchidna made you go through a lot. Yes forget how she saved you in your worst point, how she and others encouraged you to go on. And then stil blabbering about saving all people, well you couldn't t save Crusch, Mimi and countless others. So what's the point of staying in high horse. If you want to save them all just die but you decided to respect himself and now keep trying to do same which puts more people lives at risk. ahh... It sounds heroic but see if he can execute all this in one try without sacrificing more people. If he does maybe then he gets praise. |
