I finally caught up with the latest volume of the light novel after watching the anime. The anime was decent but could've been better. It's a shame they had to skip a lot due to adapting 4 volumes in just 12 episodes.

This volume was as amazing as the rest. Yuuta and Saki are steadily growing as each volume passes both physically and mentally. They are in their final year of high school and in the process of making major decisions concerning their future. Yuuta finally found a university and an academic discipline he wants to aim for. The discussion between him and the professors at the university was quite intriguing and well done. I can see that the author is researching various subjects in order to make his novel better.

The other highlight of this volume was Saki's reunion with Melissa that almost resulted in her going all the way with Yuuta. Some people might be disappointed that it didn't happen but I'm glad the dad returned home right on time and they came back to their senses. I'd like this particular LN to remain sweet and wholesome at least until they graduate high school.

And finally they revealed their step-sibling relationship to their classmates, enjoyed a school festival date and even danced together openly in front of everyone during the bonfire closing ceremony. I'm glad they are slowing gaining confidence in going more open about their relationship. I wonder how their parents would react when they eventually find out. I think Saki's mom might soon figure it out due the slip up Saki made during the previous volume. Well, they do plan to tell their parents after they secure a stable future for themselves but it might get weird when their relatives find out haha.

Anyway, as always, I very much enjoyed reading this series. As the author mentioned somewhere before, this is not a normal love story, but a story of love and he plan to continue writing it even after our protagonists graduate high school, go to university, secure stable jobs and eventually tie the knot. I'm glad he feels that way and hope he finds the motivation to continue making this an amazing series. Looking forward to reading the next volume sometime in the future <3

I am just glad that they can finally express their feelings, and would be glad that their parents are able to accept, I am actually hoping that they will become more open about it after graduation
