Why does the anime say that Obanai and Sanemi are equal in strength?

the difference isn't too great I'd argue, also it could be the case Sanemi grew more during infinity castle. also keep in mind that Sanemi's blood plays a role vs demons but not vs Obanai.

Notice how you brought up the next Arc for feats? Maybe they're around the same level in Hashira Training, and later on Sanemi's style got to shine more.

Bonus: Demon Slayer powerscaling is a mess without logic.

@BigGoat204 Actually no, the power scaling of demon slayer is not that bad although far from perfect and I had to use the infinity castle for the feats since Sanemi and Obanai don't have any relevant feats before then, but I also used extra information to establish who was the stronger between the 2
