The drama is escalating more and more. Now, a betrayal from Chaerin? I doubt she betrayed without a reason, maybe Jugyeong’s bully threatened her with something.
And in all this, Suho does nothing. If he decided to date Sujin to get her off Jugyeong's back, he’s achieving the opposite.

I get that the show is trying to build up drama in all this, but it’s all getting a bit too ridiculous. In reality, Sujin would be in jail for conspiring with that evil bf to solicit illegal pics like that. Even ignoring that part, Suho is kind of just stupid. I love him, but literally nothing prevents him from just calling MC to explain the situation regarding Sujin. He may still have to play along, but information is power.

Also, the way MC rejected Seojun was brutal. I’ve had my problems with Seojun over him blaming Suho for their friend’s death, but that made me lose even more sympathy for MC.

I mean, ultimately, we kind of just watch for Suho and Seojun. That’s the only reason I’m returning each week at least, so I just didn’t really care what happened this episode because they took a back seat. It also seems to go against both of their characters for them to take a back seat.

The reason the two are so likable is because they have such a strong contrast to the rest of the society in the show, which is vapid and depraved, kind of like Looksish. They just took such a passive role though. Although, thinking back to everything MC did to Seojun, I’d give up on her too if I was Seojun lol

I guess what I’m saying is I find the whole suicide backstory behind Suho and Seojun so much more fascinating than the actual main plot about this stupid goddess competition, but what can you do?

The bullying in Korean dramas is so excessive and evil it just makes me mad tbh. The mindless people gossiping make it even worse. I understand it’s fiction but you can really feel how powerless the MC is against the bully girl (don’t even care to remember her name). I don’t understand why Suho and Seojun can’t just back her up on everything - not even her friends but Suho and Seojun were there to expose that one guy for trying to take illegal pictures of her. Also Suho is just assisting in the bullying at this point by letting the bully girl have her way. Like dude, you already seen how bullying led your friend to suicide, why are you letting bullying take place right in front of you and the victim is a girl you supposedly like. It’s to the point where I dislike him more than the MC for being so useless.
Anywho the fictitious world the characters live in is so vain and ridiculous I’d probably off myself too if anything made up would be believed by the general public to slander others SO easily and readily. Like a literal pit of snakes.

It was hard to sit through this episode. Might drop this one

This episode was so hard to watch as somebody was bullied all throughout school this made me tear up a bit. This now makes me want to read the manwha but I’ve no idea what chapter it’s on so for anybody that has read it what chapter does this episode was on?

@Redtanto Right on! I can frankly understand Seojun wanting to distance himself from her because of how she treated him last ep, but Suho is such an airhead. It’s not malicious like Seojun blaming Suho for their friend’s death (which I think is the worst thing that’s happened in this show), but one little thought through that pretty head of his should’ve showed him that none of this is worth it.

Frankly, if they wanted to be realistic about this story, with a society and bullying like this, MC would prob be on the news for snapping and stabbing all the aholes doing this crap to her lmao. Regardless, Suho sweeping in next ep better be worth it, or else it’ll just feel like too little too late

Also, I thought about it for some time now. Maybe I'm old, or maybe the mentality is so different...
What gods and goddesses do they have at school? Are they for real? Too much importance is placed on it, and such titles contribute to it...
Then, 15 years later, at the reunion, you realise what's more important in life...
