| Surprised no one has mentioned it yet. I remember seeing a notice for the authors newest work on his Instagram a while ago. He said it was supposed to come out some point this year but had been delayed to 2025. By the looks of it it’s gonna be the sweet home sequel which I’m fairly certain he mentioned many times in the past. Can’t wait for it to come out. |

But we already had a sweet home prequel story. What else does he want to tell I’m not 100% sure, but I think I remember him talking about also having a sequel a while ago. I haven’t finished shotgun boy and stopped reading it a while ago but I heard it serves as a good conclusion to the story so I guess you’re right and there’s a definitely a chance that this isn’t gonna be a sequel, but regardless, any story from the author will be a great ride. | After doing some more digging, my faith in a sweet home prequel is restored. Apparently the shotgun boy ending teased a sequel and he already confirmed he was looking to make the sequel just needed a bigger studio. Plus the obvious similarities between this guy and the mc in sweet home leads me to believe it’s a grown up version of him. If it was a new work the art style and colour palette wouldn’t be exactly the same. I don’t wanna sell some false hype but a lot of things seem to be pointing in the right direction. |
