It's a Japanese adaptation, so it should preserve the "Mono no aware" sensibility well enough.

Here's hoping the director (music video director Yoshiyuki Okuyama) can provide pretty visuals.

This is something that should have just been a live-action to the start, so good on them.
I get it looks visually stunning but that's just not enough.

Yeah. This maybe needs some CGI for the night sky, snow falling, and cherry blossoms.

JJK would need more than that every 3 minutes. Haha.

That's such good news! I absolutely loved the movie, the different heart-breaking stories and the music. I feel like this adaptation has so much potential. ✨

Honestly? I hate the idea, mainly because they're gonna cast adults playing kids. Don't get me wrong I don't want kids to kiss for the views but still, watching characters grow up as the time pass was one of the best things in the movie (my favorite btw) and now they're gonna either make them high school students or we're gonna see adults pretend they're 10 years old 😵‍💫

Better pain in the neck drama than mid action manga. You think this is Hollywood? It would suck and you'll be crying how bad the live adaptation is
