Played DBH and watch pluto. Felt more attached to the characters in pluto and felt it tackled robot hate better. Am I the only one?

To be fair Quantic Dream's games would be considered very mediocre if they were TV series so they aren't hard to beat in terms of writing.

DBH is really bad and kinda offensive at times. It doesn't really know what it wants to talk about and the slavery metaphor is done really badly. It's message that those robots are people is again bad, because no robots are robots. They're made for a purpose, like a fridge or a mircowave-so why can't we treat them how we want to treat them. And in the face of that question, DBH simply avoids it. It doesn't have an answer cuz it's not thought out. Comparing using robots for what they were essentially made for and Slavery(which took actual living people out of their homeland and basically tortured, used, and traded them for 400) was just crazy and again offensive. The main person that spearheaded the game had to come out and say, that no it doesn't parallel slavery or it isn't inspired by black people fighting against racism. Which is bs.
There's also just bad character writing at points and the fact that sometimes when you make a decision it doesn't really matter. Some things are going to happen in DBH no matter your option. For the type of game DBH is supposed that's bad. Especially when the option you decided upon doesn't really make sense for a character for a node or point in time in DBH.
Pluto negs. Since robots are actually crossing the boundary between what's human and not. And it acc has something to say about AI. Hate. That's all I'll say if someone sees this post and they haven't finished Pluto since I don't wanna spoil the plot twist.
But yh Pluto absolutely washes DBH. In every single aspect imagineable when it comes to storytelling.
