 The official website of the television anime adaptation of Yayu Murata's Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru. (If my wife became an elementary school student.) manga revealed pair of additional cast, opening theme, and key visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other stations. Sachiko Kojima (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) and Mtsuki Iwanaka (Tsuki ga Kirei) are joining the cast as Chika Shiraishi and Renji Aikawa, respectively. Pop rock band pachae performs the opening theme "Aino Reunion." Noriyuki Abe (Bleach) is directing the anime at Studio Signpost. Sawako Hirabayashi (Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji) is handling the script and series composition. Narihito Sekikawa (Halo Legends) is designing the characters. Hiroko Yamasaki (Boukyaku Battery (TV)) is composing the music. Murata began drawing the romantic comedy drama manga as a one-shot in Weekly Manga Times in April 2018 and then began the serialization in July of the same year.
