| I recently finished the manga, and a still have a few burning questions. One being... |

| First off, the girl is never really confirmed to be silicon life, however she was most definitely not human. You gotta keep in mind the first few chapters of Blame! were still experimental in nature as it was Nihei's first ever work as a mangaka and it took some time for him to get used to it. Secondly, Killy doesn't want to harm humans no matter how hostile they may be. And they have many reasons to be hostile. They're living in a scarce environment full of creatures that want to kill them and the entire system turned against them. Killy to them was just a stranger, and could very well have been silicon life or a safeguard. |
