I kinda feel like many people watching the 3rd season aren't understanding this season as I do. (Anime only here btw) After all the action, defeating so many enemies, having to face so many problems, Rimuru is finally having a moment of "peace". He can really take the time he needed and fought for, the city can grow and exist without being the target of others, he can talk to other countries without the fear of creating a war. I mean... we feel it, we know it, the peace we have now, all this everything going well, is about to blow up and disappear. So... Can we just enjoy this moment ? Those conversations, meetings, plans for a superb festival are just sweet, relaxing and funny. It will obviously not last, and it's logical, but can we accept it ? Can we understand that this is why it is built for ? Or am I the only one enjoying this season for what it is ?

honestly I do agree with you (also anime only), but I just wish they had more packed into the episodes, whenever I finish one I feel like nothing happened in the episode and it's just 2-5 separate conversations.
I don't care about the action but I'd at least like 1 memorable thing each episode. it's probably hard for this season for what it looks to be covering though

Absolutely I love this season a lot m. It’s different from the first 2 and is meant to be because it’s basically the aftermath of war and I think it’s good while it lasts

I agree. A lot of what bugged me in the first half of the season was the amount of bad guy plotting we were shown when we know they aren’t going to win but seeing the everyday nature of Rimuru’s life is such a great nostalgic throwback to Season 1 and the Slime Diaries

LN reader here, they could have done a better visualization(scenes, storyboard etc) in the first 5 eps, that’s the only complaining I agree with. Its always nice to watch a pleasant story like Tensura

I would have agreed with people hating the meetings at the start of the season but this is actually good, sure it doesn't have action but if you want brainless action you can watch like 30 other isekai airing right now

This season is excellent, a good blend of SOL, strategy, plot and counter plot and action.

18 episodes of exposition through dialogue. There’s no real slice of life to be found here outside of again, dialogues between “remember this character” and slime, the few action scenes we got were one or two moves and that was the end of that.

So yeah, I am glad some people are enjoying this, but I am just fast forwarding through this “tell don’t show” exposition and pray the next season will have some actual plot again ngl.

I love it, slime might be the most loyal adaptation I've seen yet. we are in the slow, mostly peaceful world/character building phase in the story, so ya if you don't like that type of stuff this season will be the worst season of slime for you. things ramp up afterwards tho, so that'll shut up the complainers.

being a loyal adaptation is important to me so in that regard slime is still a 10/10 for me.

would ppl rather slime be like Arifureta? which cut a shit ton out? literally almost the entirety of vol 2 was cut out. it's just criminal. don't get me wrong, it's good, I love it, but it ain't loyal to the novel, and so I doc a few points off.

I hope slime continues to be loyal, screw the haters

I agree with you but I feel like season 3 has pacing issues (during 1-8 episodes)

you're not the only one dude. I've always loved Tensura and most people complaining about how this season doesn't have much to offer is rather crude.

nope I like this season over the first 2 cause it feels like an actual story with progress and is perfectly paced, I'm an anime only

18 episodes of setup but for what. Lots of fluff too. E8 was fun with lots of action but that’s been it. I really hope “something” (substantial) happens before the season ends. Way too many plot lines that are going nowhere. Great anime but this season has been a letdown for me. Hopefully it ends strong.

I also am enjoying it, but it might be because I wait for all the episodes to come out and then Bing it.

Don’t take it as a hate towards you: LN reader here, I guarantee to you that almost every information presented to us in this season is essential to understand Tensura’s universe and its world building, even if some parts seems boring don’t completely ignore them bc you may get lost in future. These 2 arcs are purposefully slow in order to set things up to future, we can’t take a shortcut and skip important details.

this arc was far better in the LN having a whole bunch of exposition and meetings is fine to read about but watching it happen in the anime is boring
