| Just to put it simply for everyone wondering (then I'll explain why I don't necessarily like this): This Manga ended with 154 chapters in 20 Volumes to its name But each Volume has an extra chapter (sometimes more than one bonus. For example Volume 9 had 3 bonus chapters. But they count as only one extra chapter) So: 154 (chapters) + 20 (extra chapters with each Volume) = 174 chapters in the database (I'm not very fond of this but I can kind of understand why it's there. But for me, it can confuse me and other readers if I didn't know about this. I'd think I have chapters that I missed out on. I think if MAL can help distinguish between normal chapters and extra chapters in their database it would help removing the confusion. I suggest a separate "Extras" for bonus chapters just like the "Volume" and "Chapter") |

I mean, it's confusing only if you are reading illegal scans. If you have the official books, you see them. That's why they are included on MAL; they are following the official release.

The issue is that even if you finish the Manga which has 154 chapters, if you don't know how this site works you'll get confused about the extra 20 in the database. If the extras are separated from the normal chapters (instead of lumping the extras at the end) it will reduce the confusion that many legal and illegal readers have |

Excluding a Chapter you have read is more confusing, in my opinion. Edit : The Omakes distribution may be confusing, tho, with the 1-pages not being counted while they are still in the summary.
