| They confirmed when it was announced that it would be the final season, so pretty obvious it would need to be 3 cours to match the pace of all the parts before it. I kinda wish they'd just wait and do it all at once so we could have almost an entire year of it airing non-step, even if that means the initial wait would be longer. But I get that this makes more sense buissness wise, either way I'm excited for it. |

So basically that means it will end in 2026, right? Usually cours are divided by one season (let's presume the 1st cour starts in January, then 2nd will start in July, and the last one will start in January 2026)
| @Artego32rus Who knows, though. Bleach TTYBW was separated into 4 cours, with one cour a year as of yet. So, most likely 2026, but maybe not. |

don't worry, it is definitely not a bad ending!
It's just a very logical ending, which a lot of people don't understand and a lot more, who don't like logical endings.
| @SATAN19 reminds me book i had read, where despite the ending was logical, it wasn't that "huge twist" exactly. in a way, the writer was just wanted to give perfect logical reason rather than something overboard that doesn't fit his writing. in that case it was OK, but in other cases it might be bad. either way dr. stone is currently the only anime i'm really curious of watching. kinda got tired of watching anime, and the only one that i actually anticipating is dr. stone. if it have good logical ending, i will be really happy with. its hard to expect something like this from shounen that usually have super epic and fatnasy twists, but knowing dr. stone, i expect really big twist, but logical too. my only disappointment is the 3 cours thingy. as a binge watcher, its just killes my patience before the 3rd season even begun. |

The schedule of the anime? Not sure though 🤣
It says 3 cours but it'll be more like 1 2 cour season and an additional cour maybe 6 months later. So just to cope with the time, you can assume it's actually 2 different seasons
