If we get a s3 (fingers crossed) It should be the final season cause the manga ended with the 154th chapter today. S1 covered up to chater 47 and s2 covered up to chapter 91. If you look at the ammount they have to cover it seems they need more than 12 episodes. But they can't really do it in 2 seasons unless they stretch it out somehow

It would be good if instead of 12 chapters that wide a little more the 3rd season, like 14 chapters or something, or maybe do like in kimetsu and do a 40 minute long chapter (sorry if my eanglish isn't the best)

You shouldn't focus much on chapter count, since chapters can be of varying lengths. Some mangas have chapters that are around 20 pages long and other have chapters that are 40 pages long.

In the case of Nagatoro, I think the chapters were initially 20 pages long but towards the end of the manga they became around 30 pages long.

I recall season 2 ending on volume 12 and the final volume is volume 20. They could stretch a 3rd season into 2 cours. But this is all hypothetical talk, who knows if they'll do a 3rd season.

why end the manga , this could have gone longer . what a letdown 😑 should have taken a cue from ' tower of God ' or ' lookism ' , they forget about the limit and still going 😂😂

I would say it's gonna definitely happen because of fan following as well as the manga ending.
