| It is a terrible arc... the only thing that wasn’t needed were her parents as they had no impact whatsoever. They didn’t even redeem or make the parents likable, at least Yae’s parents now have a fun dynamic with their daughter. Asahi’s parents shouldn’t have children in the first place. NGL... It's just this arc that made me want to drop this manga. |

| This series was never good since the start. But somehow it still managed to keep making the cut, and somewhere along the line, it became decent enough. But then came this arc. Downright horrible, even if we being generous here. To be honest, I don't see why her parents were needed in the story to begin with. We could've dealt with not knowing who the shoe designer is after all. Author couldn't even conclude it properly. It's the same bond and family shtick again and again and again. SIGH. |
