 The 12th and final episode of Kaijuu 8-gou (Kaiju No. 8) announced a sequel at the end its broadcast on Saturday. Voice actor Kouki Uchiyama (Jujutsu Kaisen) will join the cast as Gen Narumi, the captain of the First Division of the Defense Force.The anime series by Production I.G, adapting Naoya Matsumoto's action sci-fi manga, began airing on April 13. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles and dubbed it in multiple languages. Shounen Jump+ began serializing the manga in July 2020. Shueisha published the 12th volume on April 4. Kaijuu 8-gou has a cumulative 14 million copies of its volumes in circulation. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2021 and released the tenth volume on June 4. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublishes it in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, and French. | @Playcool Because there was never an attempt to match it, and that's not what "inconsistent" means. It refers to consistency within it's own idea, which the anime absolutely was. |
