| Consider what was shown at the end really happened and wasn't just some dream, then it's a happy ending. However, regardless if it was real or not, I didn't feel happy at the end, so I vote sad. |

Kinda weird to explain this but according to the visual novel it has a bad ending and true ending. The anime adaptation did both endings and in the visual novel the true ending isn't really necessary to complete, unless u want to beat the same 100% where u have to do that, the baseball tournament, and Sunohara’s route (and no its not canon, fuck this route was disturbing to play) |

That’s literally incorrect, you have watched the show with a blindfold on, you have clearly not read the visual novel, and missed the whole point of clannad in general. Pathetic. |

| Objectively happy, anybody who says otherwise are completely incorrect, didn’t pay attention to the story, to the themes and to the heart of this mastercraft. Clannad ending deniers are absolutely the worst of the worst. Chew your shows before you swallow everyone. |
