I'm not saying it needs a reboot, a remaster, or anything like that to be honest. But I just wish there was more. It's kinda like one of those shows, that sticks with you. I loved every bit of it, and even though it's not too well known as at now. I hope it gets bigger in the future. And I know I said it doesn't need any of the above, I'm just hoping there's more content or at least something similar to fill the void. Watched this a couple of years back, it's one of those anime you just stumble on and instantly know it's a gem. I obviously binged it and wow, I did not regret the experience. It was wonderful.

This is not just a simple show but a work of art in the true sense of the word. It is my second favorite anime and it really deserves to be this good. I don't think there will be a "remaster", but a few more episodes related to various endings from the LN can be created. Without but and maybe Phantom is a brilliant anime, pure drama, lots of action and much more. I also finished it a long time ago, and I remember those beautiful times, I was impatient to continue it, it was something that I can't describe only in words, it was also put in soul. I'll definitely pick it up again, and I can watch it again and again, simply Masterpiece!

Also, I always liked the connection between Ein (Elen) and Zwei (Reiji). They made an excellent team and with the help of Zwei, Ein did not lose his confidence and continued to hope with Reiji. And Drei (Cal) was an important character, I really liked how she interacted with Zwei, but she took a "wrong" path from a young age, and I didn't really like this fact, I really like Cal. However, the series will remain legendary for me, not only because of the way the story was written, but also because I lived with the characters!

I watched it years ago and still love it today. I really need to sit down and rewatch it. It's been a long time.

You can always re-watch it after some time. I don't know if there's need for something more to be said. That kind of ending was inevitable, live and die by the sword, in their case against their will, and I hope they finally found peace somewhere else.

Btw, I'm glad it never was popular, with so many toxic communities and fans the anime probably would be ruined. This way is more like "hidden" gem.

It is for sure underappreciated. I remember stumbling on to this when I first started really getting into anime. There was this tone about it that no other show really had. It really captured the feeling of zero emotion assassins.

Hidden gem is the perfect way to describe this show.

Certainly, the community most often destroys the part of animes and brings them back to bad stations, or popular only for a certain audience of people. I think Phantom is something else. An anime that does not disappoint at all, and referring to the communities, in general, they usually bring ridicule and arguments between "die-hard fans", who are only used to the mainstream!
