| The people's liberation army visited the village to complete the succession of land to the peasants working as slaves. Sanyuan and his family get their own plot of land as a privilege and he works to help cultivate the land with his knowledge and hard work. Before long the liberation army leave the village and the officer asks if he wants to come. I understand it's hard to leave his household because of his Mother and sisters but we can all see what his decision is going to be after all that the army helped them with. Episode was okay, felt a little forced to that conclusion but I enjoyed the field calculations Sanyuan was hired to do. Crazy how soybean rations were pay for a days work back in those times. |
