Honestly, I get where you're coming from. After the 20 episodes that could have been summarized into 10, we finally got some real action, but it's not even with the MC.

Still, I think this episode gets a pass because it presents all the other sides of the fight at a good pace. I wish it was the makoto fight, but I'm very fine with what I was shown today.

I feel like they could have taken the 20 episodes in the season and made it into 5. It's so weirdly paced, when you look back on the episodes, it's mostly wasted dialogue and dead air. Bizarre adaptation, considering how good season 1 is

their are many anime that balance both world building character growth, action, mc do some shit, at the same time.

world building you say, all that world' building happened in this season can easily be summed in 20 lines. don't talk like your are the only anime humble Elite, person who knows what world building is. we also know what world building is and how it's dun.

just don't assume everyone who point out's some problem with the passing of the are all idiots who don't know what world building and character development. what do you want 12 episodes aren't enough for character development and world development. for a anime of this quality.

such cry babies, i read the LN and Manga, and found out that they actually left a lot of content, so their pacing is already quiet fast, and people still complain about an action filled episode lmao

@Yeshaiah2015yesh Tsukimichi wasn't an anime that focus on fighting in the first place. You can see in ss1 Makoto focus on build his own world and avoid fighting as much as possible.
Tsukimichi is heavly focus on world-building so a lot of talks is expected. If you dont like it i respect that, but for me it give me information about the world and i enjoy it.
One Piece is completely different genre so its not make sense when you compare with it. If you want to see some thing like OP, yea Tsukimichi isn't for u and u should drop it.

The beginning had the heroes and it felt like a different show.

Then we got Makoto and it was enjoyable again.

The last espsiode had Makoto teleported and a fight starting, which was exciting.

Then this episode had another heroes story, feels like a different show again, and worse, it is the hero who tried to steal Tomoe, so I am rooting for the DragonSlayer to win.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I don’t fully disagree with you tbh. I think that the problem is actually more in the author himself rather than the adaptation. From what I hear, anime cut out a lot of the scenes from the books. So this is the condensed version they came up with. I can’t imagine reading the books if that is the case.

A lot of this season could have been summed up in maybe 12 episodes. Unfortunate in all honesty. Still like the show; but I understand some of the complaints about its pacing.

However, I was satisfied after this episode. They needed to cover what the heroes were doing up to that point as much as y’all don’t want to admit it. I think y’all just have an issue with the season as a whole and not this episode specifically.

It has been a disappointment since they skimmed through the two heroes' story, making them more of a mob characters than the sub-main ones.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Well, one is upfront, and you know it's fiction and a story because, well, it's an anime, duh??

On the other hand, they go out of their way to try and trick you and hide the fact that they are in the USA, using heavy machinery and dozens of people. It's a little different.

I just thought it was funny you mentioned them, that's all.
