| I guess it's backstory time next chapter. Honestly too much spitting and saliva for my liking, but overall it's enjoyable. I dunno how popular his series is but it seems it will be another short series (2-3vol). |

What other works is the author known for? I’ve only seen this one.
| @tmellllly lol sorry I was referring how many series on Jump+ (where Astro Baby publish chapters) are often short series or end prematurely. Like backstory time and them fortifying that building and not running away from presumably main antagonist have strong "final battle" vibe. Obviously author can develop "human side" as a threat and Elly still needs a cure but with current pace it's hard to me imagine this series being even 50 chapter long. |

| I actually discovered this series in Mangaplus not too long ago and I love it so far. I read the mangaka's other work (Soloist in a Cage) and it's quite similar to Astro Baby in some aspects, but Astro Baby scifi horror definitely makes it stand out more than it's predecessor. The pacing in Soloist in a Cage is also similar to this series so it might be only three volumes too. Still, hope to see more from this unique setting, maybe the author might be encouraged to expand upon it if the manga is popular enough. |
