Yeah, I hope the Childhood friend doesn't regret going to a different school. Well I guess maybe it's better to see your crush/childfriend get taken away from far away is better than being in the same school and seeing you slowly/quickly losing the war called love. Or maybe it's actually worse as you can't even try to fight and can only slowly watch as you get phased out.

It's like when you introduce two friend you know to each other and they become better friends with each other than with you and you gradually fall out of the friend group becoming a third wheel.
