I liked the show but don't understand why certain authors create such characters

Futari, Shizuka
What is the purpose of this character? Other than playing the role of a "money launderer" for Sasaki. He could have gotten some other 3rd party less screen time character to play that role. She just feels highly annoying and honestly has no real need.

Why do I find it an issue? She reminds me of
-Sword Art Online (Yui the AI-trash)
-The Rising of the Shield Hero (Filo the f***king Protein Chicken)

We already had the 16-year-old Hoshizaki and the lonely Neighbour girl.

Does anyone else find it annoying or am I hating for no reason?

'don‘t understand why certain authors create such characters'

More 'waifu' options for the male audience to choose from I guess.

The existence of this entire thing is something worth asking.

@IhnalakoKaina Haha I just find the character interactions so annoying, all the seriousness from the show just zaps out.

@Eleben yea I get the ''waifu'' part, I have more of an issue with the writing/interactions vs having her as the only non-underage character

@Re_Pollster
I guess I should have written more as you why I made that comparison lol
although you are right, my comparisons made no sense hahaha

but when I watched Shield Hero, I was enjoying the show/interactions between Naofumi & Raphtalia
but as a typical Jap author, less is never enough
had to add a 3rd Cock-blocking girl
but it is a girl who is also a f**cking chicken
just make KFC out of her, eat that PROTIEN, and build some muscle...
majority of interaction between the main 2 characters
insert protein to ruin the moment

as for Yui, I don't even wanna get into that

@RiasatSenpai Oh I mean the anime, not the post. The anime was awful in every single aspect, it’s borderline insulting.

I like Trash Isekai and liked a few aspects of this show.

But what triggered me the most was how non-serious it got regarding beating people. First was Futari Shizuka & her boss who tried to kill her cause she left the criminal organization. Slop-ass conclusion with MC going like please don't talk my power to my boss and let us go our merry way. While in the Isekai world, Pi-chan killed off the other nation's forces.

Reminds me of Re:Creators somewhat.

Shizuka is the most entertaining girl in this show, I see no reason to hate her.

@RiasatSenpai My main problem apart from how these characters resemble cardboard is how it introduces so many elements yet it comes with an execution that does not blend them well together at all nor does it expand and dive into said elements. It’s like throwing your fridge onto a nacho platter, too many things mixed together yet they all taste like a heaping mountain of rotten garbage.
