I don't know anything about the archive, but "Hitoribocchi" is an animated short produced by Toei Animation that was shown at the Toei Manga Festival on March 18, 1969.

As for the story, it appears to be as follows:
Pero is a brave cat who wears boots. However, after saving a mouse, he is removed from the feline community and ends up being chased by three killers. Once, Pero meets Pierre, a kind-hearted boy, and they decide to travel together. Along with Pierre, he plays an active role in rescuing Princess Rose, who was taken by the demon king.
