Whach like three episodes and make that decision yourself. The anime could be based off the best manga in the world and completely fumble, we’ve got no idea if the anime will be good or not.

The manga is pretty good if you like stories that start with a little kingdom building that moves to negotiating and then a strategic war. The enemies are a little generic but his friends seem to have personality.

I would do as the person said and watch the first three episodes. Although know that within those three it will probably be slower paced as it tends to ramp up.

The plot kind of reminds me of this anime …

Not the strongest, but was an important part of the demon army.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Ridiculous overuse of 12 frames per second 3D CGI? Yup, that's studio A-Cat for ya! If Jun wasn't the VA for the protag this wouldn't even be on anyone's radar.

Not my most anticipated of the season, but as far as the story that exists for it, it should be decent. Can't believe we're less than a week away from seeing episode 1 and being able to make up our own minds. I look forward to chatting with everyone who watches.

After completing the Anime, I would say the score between 6 and 7 is accurate enough. It can be watched if you have nothing better to watch. The Kingdom Building and Strategy aspects in this Anime make it a little bit better than the average generic Isekais, which usually struggle with offering an aspect, that makes them worth watching. Then again, Kingdom Building and Strategy feel half-baked and the overall pacing wasn't the best, so, don't expect something similar in quality to Overlord, TenSura or How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom.
