I wouldn’t worry about it this series is the definition of fluff. There’s some angst later on involving some of the side characters, but I highly doubt this adaptation is going to get that far.

Yes there actually is a fair bit of drama later in the story, but for the most part the anime will cover the fluffy bits and towards the end of the anime it will get a bit drama heavy. But nothing too crazy as I doubt they will adapt past volume 6.

Yes there actually is a fair bit of drama later in the story, but for the most part the anime will cover the fluffy bits and towards the end of the anime it will get a bit drama heavy. But nothing too crazy as I doubt they will adapt past volume 6.

No Hima and Yori’s relationship is as pure as can be, there is at one point during volume 6 were there is a bit of tension but it’s resolved and deepens their relationship massively.

(This would probably be the last few episodes of the show)

Basically every bit of drama comes from Aki (the blond girl) and the other band of girls which will be introduced a bit later in the anime Hima kind of gets thrown in the middle of the drama though.

A lot of it involves the other bands and Yoris band clashing and the other band having much deeper and serious motives for being a band and the fact they take their band far more seriously than ssgirls. (The origin behind their band is super sad)

And your probably going to end up hating the main girl in the other band, (although she’s literally the best written character in the show)

Hope that makes sense and I hope I didn’t spoil much

No worries, if you want to read the manga than I definitely recommend it. Especially considering most likely the anime will end on volume 6. Cause they seem to be adapting half a volume per episode.

Volume 6 is enough time to give massive development to yori and Hima’s relationship but it will leave the drama between the bands unresolved.

And yuri never get second seasons so yeah I recommend the manga

God dam that was quick. I buy the English volumes instead of reading the chapters online. From what I’ve heard the chapters release like monthly or something.

But in my case i have to wait like 6-12 months for the next volume to be translated and released. Tough times for me. 😭😭

the last chapter took about 2.5 months i believe, was ligit dying because i had to wait so long so i cant imagine having to wait almost a year just to buy one volume 😭

You are right! I read the manga until now and I agree with all you said (kudos to you for not making spoilers!)
And yes, the main character of the other band is the most well-written character of the show.
