| I saw the abyss in Reiji's eyes. I didn't expect him to decide to become an avenger and have resolve so strong to find and punish Mao. Reiji's personality has truly evolved over all this time since he met Nagi. I wonder how this series will end like. I have two predictions. First is not having a fully happy ending, because of Reiji and Nagi committing shinjuu (double suicide) they have been talking about and willed to do for so long. What's more, Nagi seems to be totally broken and there is no one, Reiji included, who would be able to successfully heal her mind. We also have Reiji the avenger. If he will find and kill Mao, then I can see him escaping from the authorities by simply commiting lovers' suicide with Nagi. My second guess is Sensei getting pregnant with Reiji's child, living a happy life, though having to raise the child alone, because of Reiji's death due to the hypothetical reasons I mentioned earlier. But well, we will see. This manga is full of sometimes crazy and unexpected plot twists. Each chapter can make more or less complex theories become irrelevant and unrealistict. We will have to wait more than usual for the next chapter, and the upcoming break will be longer than usual. From what I heard, the series will go on a break for the next week and the week after it. |
