| I would suggest you watch Kuroshitsuji by manga canon, which basically means watching half of season 1 (up to episode 15) , skipping season 2 and continuing to book of Circus. You CAN start with Book of Circus, if I remember correctly they did good introduction for the newbies. And honestly the 'Book' Kuroshitsuji anime are peak, they are totally worth it. This is a manga canon season as well, it continues from Book of Atlantic |
| hey,:) just to clarify, Kuroshitsuji has chronological orders, this season is conected to previous. so I don't recommend watching it out of order because it makes no sense. I 100% understand the dislike for season 2 because it was TOTALLY filler and weird af. The first season was also about 70% filler. The next seasons based on the manga are really cool, dark and addictive, so I highly recommend checking them out. if you want to watch these seasons based on the manga in order, the order looks like this: about 7-8 episodes of the first season (you can look online for which ones are based on the manga or if you want, I can list them), then Book of Circus, then Book of Murder , then Book of Atlantic and finally the latest season |
| book of circus is peak, watching that got me to read the manga i'd reccomend you just start there and dont bother rewatching the first season or just read the manga cause the manga is so much better |

| I have the same question, though about this season only. I really dont like school theme. I watched everything else already. First season was Fine, 2nd is non-canon, Book of Circus is when the series peaks imo. I remember Book of Murder being absolutely terrible for being so absurdly predictable. And then went back to be fine again with the ship arc. |
| This seemed to come out of nowhere. I would like to watch it but have never seen the 1st season and the old anime is not available on Crunchyroll. Does anyone know where it could be watched nowadays? Are the movies and OVA's that are in between also obligatory to watch to understand the story? |
| I always enjoyed the Canon parts and I love the Manga. Also Circus Arc is my favorite along School arc! If you've enjoyed it in the past, definitely start again! |
