I really liked the first season, but what you've seen so far in the second season is disappointing. It went down in that moment when suddenly the whole villain in the academy was skipped and our MC is now a jelly!

And I hope this spider outfit in the op/ed is a joke... the jelly thing already looks goofy. I hope it will be like back then, like season one with the magic and the aura. Otherwise, it just looks stupid and boring.

Will the series return to the old glory or do I have to bury the season like the promise neverland season 2?

After it gets passed the “heroes” section, it is better and more like it was before I think

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

It’s a slow build up for what’s coming. I honestly don’t mind the slow build up instead of rushing things out. More action is needed for sure though.

yeah, I agree with it because sometimes rush building spoils the series

I’m enjoying the second season. Some cheese to it, but it’s fun. But, I’m also certain what’s to come will be super good! There should be a lot of action moving forward and hopefully we get to see the other heroes ( I’m assuming). I’m staying positive because this is one of my favs!

No need to insult the person just because they don’t like the intro hero arch, and prefer something similar to the first season.

Expressing an opinion also doesn’t make them childish.

I think the main problem is that they are introducing an abundance of side characters, that cause oversaturation and just waste screentime.

I like the jelly thing it's funny
can't wait to see the suit in the op/ed it also look funny

they can skip whatever they want I don't really care. what I want is something to enjoy not something 100% accurate to the source material

the vibes of the show didn't change, except for episodes 2 and 3 which were a big rush of the 2 others heroes sides skipped in season 1. there was only 1 bad episode, it was episode 2. episode 3 was ok for me. the rest was peak

I prefer season 2 over season 1 btw

I believe we need season 2, for is personal growth, as you can tell he has complications and the growth of some of the humans around him as well.
