I'm a big fan of the older stuff such as Leaether Strip,:Wumpscut:,Suicide Commando,Clan of Xymox,Ministry,Die Form etc.

But, also really like the new ebm/dark wave stuff like: Tactical Sekt,Velvet Acid Christ,Dawn of Ashes,X-fushion etc.

What are you into?

I personally like Doa and sucide Commando

but my main cyberpunkish taste isnt that, its more into German Hard Techno

Heavy Electronic/Machinery sound, pounding percussions and Acid Lines, Perfect for a dark cybergoth'ish club situated in the abandon outskirts of a high tech metropolis.

Cyberpunk music at its best

@Ivantrollet - Leaether Strip,:Wumpscut:,Suicide Commando,Clan of Xymox,Ministry,Die Form is old school industrial you fucking idiot. I was just merely stating that I too enjoy the new ebm/darkwave aspects of industrial as well..
Hence: "But, also really like the new ebm/dark wave stuff like: Tactical Sekt,Velvet Acid Christ,Dawn of Ashes,X-fushion etc."

Stop arguing with each other , geez >.>

@ Ivantrollet : it's not "dark pop bullshit" , as all music genres , Industrial evolves as well , and , I for one , when I'm referring to something as being Industrial , I'm saying that because I don't wanna get lost in all the sub-genres of it , like rhythmic noize , dark electro , harsh ebm , etc. etc. ... way more easy to just call it Industrial , IMHO

Anyway , on-topic : I like very much Skinny Puppy , Wynardtage , Grendel , Winterstahl and many many more ! It is practically impossible just to name a few when this whole culture is so god-damn amazing <3

Wynardtage is sick. As well as older Grendel [Specifically like Inhumane Amusement, great album] What do you think about his new unsynthesized material?

I know this might be BEYOND YOUR COMPREHENSION so I'll try to spell it out for you.

"Leaether Strip,:Wumpscut:,Suicide Commando,Clan of Xymox,Ministry,Die Form etc" are in fact NOT OLD SCHOOL INDUSTRIAL, they are all part of a corruption and popularization of the once ORIGINAL AND EXPERIMENTAL UMBRELLA TERM INDUSTRIAL for the bands and artists on the INDUSTRIAL RECORDS label Throbbing Gristle formed in 1976. None of these bands you mentioned were on this label, in fact most of them didn't even come into existence before the label died.

Back in the day when the real industrial artists invented the genre, it wasn't very popular it was a underground art movement. Many years later it started getting some public popularity when bands such as those you mentioned took inspiration from the original industrial bands and made something catchy, dance-able instead, why people actually think these bands are "industrial" is beyond me, when it sounds nothing like industrial.

Dude your really starting to hurt my head. Yeah okay we all I know about the Throbbing Gristles and their band label, anybody whose heard a fucking Skinny Puppy song can tell you the same. Anyways, the point being as Helheim previously mentioned.. is that there is some many sub-genres of industrial such as: EBM/Powernoise/Electro/Synthpunk-Synthpop-Darkwave etc etc.. When referring to the music in the end it all falls under the category of in industrial.
So if it helps you sleep at night let me rephrase it for you: " Leaether Strip,:Wumpscut:,Suicide Commando,Clan of Xymox,Ministry,Die Form etc are old school E-B-M that fall into the industrial genre of music." There ya go! Now you can fall asleep nicely! Have fun watching K-on tonight while combing your fingers through your vagina. Sweet dreams asshole! :D

I'll admit I'm only fresh off the boat when it comes to any music that isn't metal. I love FLA though, and before them I used to listen to Sybreed and Icycore alot.
