All things considered, I think Urdr Hunt is a nice little Gundam side-story thing. Wistario, Katya, 598, fake Turbines lady, and even Range are all generally likeable and I enjoyed the episodes when they were together doing stuff. I like the IBO universe mobile suit designs too so most of the ones from this are cool and I'll look for gunpla of them.

That said, what a pile of completely wasted potential. The parade of horrendous villains and a lack of coherent villainous faction in general sabotaged any sense of purpose or scale for this series. The mini-arc with 598 was fine but it was just IBO-lite and got resolved early on. All attempts to build up Cyclase were wasted and he just sucked. I will not mention the other named "villains" by name. They had enough pieces to do something and just never really did.

I guess the cancellation of the game was kind of sudden or something because holy crap was there not an ending to this at all. "When are they gonna get to the fireworks factory?!?!" is a pretty obscure Simpsons reference these days but man, "When they are gonna get to the Urdr Hunt factory?!?!?!" They never actually got very deep into explaining anything about the series' namesake and by episode 10 they kind of just stopped doing anything regarding it at all. Katya just sort of runs away with Wistario and they just chill on Venus? It is shocking what a nothing that "ending" was.
