'Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai' Reveals Additional Cast, Theme Songs, First Promo for Summer 2024

The official website of the Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai (Dahliya in Bloom) television anime revealed additional cast, theme songs, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Friday. The television anime is set to premiere in July 2024.

Irma Nuvolari: Riho Iida (Love Live! School Idol Project)
Marcella Nuvolari: Kenichirou Matsuda (Spy x Family)
Lucia Fano: Fuuka Izumi (Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete)
Ivano Badoer: Hiroki Takahashi (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!)
Gabriella Jedda: Yuriko Yamaguchi (One Piece)
Tobias Orlando: Tomohiro Ono (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu 2nd Season)

Nako Misaki (Love Live! Superstar!!) is performing the opening theme "Chiisana Tsubomi," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Marina Horiuchi (Healer Girl) will perform the ending theme "Glitter."

Yousuke Kubo is directing the television anime at Typhoon Graphics and Imagica Infos. Yuuichirou Higashide (Fate/Apocrypha) is handling the series composition, and Satomi Kurita (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) is designing the charcters. Kow Otani (Kenja no Mago) is the music composer.

The anime adapts Hisaya Amagishi's fantasy slice of life novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2018. Kadokawa acquired the novel and published the first volume under its MF Books imprint in October 2018, featuring illustrations by Kei. The ninth volume was released last December. The series has a cumulative 3.2 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

Megumi Sumikawa began serializing a manga adaptation in MAGCOMI magazine in April 2019. Mag Garden released the sixth volume in August 2023.

Misato Kamada serialized a second manga adaptation in Comp Ace from April 2019 to February 2020. The second and final volume went on sale in July 2020.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in July 2021 and shipped the eighth volume in December 2023. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the first manga adaptation in September 2021 and published the fifth volume in August 2023.

Actors past roles seem to personify all modern anime. Shonens, idols, yuri and isekai. I wonder if this will work with other shows?
