My theory is that the leak means that the production is making a 2-cours anime.
But not that the season will be 2 cours.
That means that for me it will be 2 different seasons.
“Cour 1” is Public School Arc, and “Cour 2” will be another season, the following season, so Emerald Witch Arc.
Beacause why integrated Emerald Witch Arc if the season is specifically called Public School Arc ?
To me it doesn't make sense.
So in summary I think that it is the overall production of Black Butler which will make 2 cours, with two possibilities, the first being the one that I said, that the 2 cours are in fact 2 different seasons, Public School Arc then Emerald Witch Arc or it will surprisingly be a single season in 2 parts but then I'm intrigued as to what it will be!
In any case I am very happy and excited!

| @JaysonNnN well yeah, that's what I think as well- no one is releasing Emerald Witch under "Public School" title x) It's just some people on Reddit are debating if it's just 24 eps of Public School... I don't think it's realistic, the arc is not that long, it would require tons of fillers and it makes no sense since we already have Emerald Witch, Blue Cult AND Blue Memory Arcs to cover. I think, if everything works out great, we will get 2 more cours later on, covering both "Blue" arcs. Maybe in 2026 |

Ciel is not going to spend there 3 seasons or anything If it's somewhat mystery-focused story like Kuroshitsuji, it's logical for author to choose different locations for its arcs (cruise liner, old village, castle, circus etc). This time it's private school |
