The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2024 on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and other stations.Yuusuke Shirai (Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!) and Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online) are joining the cast as Takumi Kayano and Silphyleel, respectively. Atsushi Nigorikawa (Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. B. Bird is credited with production cooperation. Shizuru Minazuki began penning the fantasy slice of life novel on AlphaPolis' website in June 2016. AlphaPolis published the first volume in April 2017, featuring illustrations by Yamakawa. The 15th volume was released on September 30. The light novel and manga have a cumulative 1.1 million copies of its volumes in circulation through December 2023. AlphaPolis Web Manga serialized a manga adaptation by Tomomi Mizuna in January 2018. The eighth volume went on sale in December 2023.
