Quick question about Beretta: Where did she come from, anime just kind of brought her in w/o any backstory which I assumed was dropped. I know Rimuru gave Ramiris the body for her new golem, and it mentioned her summoned a demon for it. Does the light novel or manga cover for of what happened. Always bothered me, where she come from??

rimuru made her at the end of season 1 but the anime brushed over it really fast.

yes they brushed it over because it was supposed to be like that

just a toy made on a whim. But it is later revealed during the Walpurgis that Beretta was indeed a very strong demon spirit (i think that's what she is iirc, similar to diablo). This was confirmed by Guy when he questions Beretta as to why she wants to side with rimuru (essentially suggesting why she works under/for rimuru despite being that strong).

@satan19 Demon and Spirit are 2 different things in the story.
Shes not on same level as Guy or Diablo, shes a high rank demon for sure. If shes a primordial, Diablo will have alot to talk with her while Guy will call her name out; not her given name.

the main series rushed that part, but it was covered in a 2 ep, 3 min mini series called "Sukuwareru Ramiris" The annoying part of this mini series is, off the 3 min episode, 1 min 30 seconds is the credits scene at the end. and the rest is the episode content.

Rimuru summoned a demon and Beretta was watching and decided to be the one summoned then. Diablo actually was supposed to/wanted to be summoned then, but Beretta took his spot. From what I remember at least.

Gardone Val Trompia in the mountains close to Brescia. Very industrialized village, pretty much everything there revolves around Beretta.

It’s a doll so no gender but it has a female VA and a feminine figure (slim).

It’s just easier to talk with “she/ her” or “he/ him” instead of “it/ they”
