if i'm not mistaken, she was planning to encounter him in the playground they used to go as kids and kill herself in front of him. As payback or revenge. But now that she sees he has gone crazy (from her perspective), she feels that now her payback is useless and that he is not worthy of it anymore. So yeah, basically she probably won't kill herself in the future, or at least not as it was predicted. I'm pretty sure this was covered in the story, but it may be additional info from the manga, I don't remember correctly. |

But I can see that the last ten years have driven you much more insane than me. My revenge would have little point now." You could say that the whole reason she had to kill herself has just vanished. Because she was aiming to get a revenge that is now pointless, there is no reason for her to die in the way it was predicted. She then said: "Instead, I'm walking out of your life forever without a word. Good-bye." So if she wants to kill herself, she wouldn't do it in the open where she could be found, so that Kusunoki won't find out about it nor visit her grave. And she ended the message with: "I'm such an idiot." Meaning that she feels like a fool for thinking that this was a plan worth trying. Knowing the way she is feeling now, I would say she is feeling discouraged too, and because of that, I think she won't be killing herself, at least in the near future. Now, this is the way I interpret the message. Would love to hear you think. |

| well personally i think he did "save" her life, but some times they do the whole "oh she is fated to die around that time" type of trope and if his actions of seeming crazy did save her wouldnt that technically of increased the value of his own life? since well the ending doesnt mention anything about preventing a death and , like surely preventing a suicide and the lost of someones mother would be of some value right? |

Plus if the evaluation takes value from contribucion to society, his happiness and the one of those around him, dreams achieved, etc. I don't think anyone gain much from this, maybe her kid, if he/she's treated and cared the right way. So maybe he gain little to no value from it, so compared with how much he would gain later it wasn't even worth to mention. I even think that he becoming famous in the town and make people laugh with his invisible girlfriend act contributes more to society, and that isn't mention either. |

@evergloom98 Yes, I guess it should increase his value. But since she would've died because of him, I don't know how much value should increase. | @BenjaPV well the whole "famous" in town is kind of mentioned, but if i remember right the whole how much joy you bring to others has little in actual value, if i remember right they mention the joy part of value when he has the substitute monitor dude all in all this book is now in my top 10 |
