 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ema Tooyama's Vampire Dormitory revealed the main cast and a second teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime will begin airing in April 2024.Cast Mito Yamamoto: Kana Ichinose (Sousou no Frieren) Ruka Saotome: Shunichi Toki (Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun) Ren Nikaido: Yuuichirou Umehara (Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu) Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Uramichi Oniisan) is helming the anime at Studio Blanc. Touko Machida (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is penning the script, and Naomi Tsuruta (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a animation director) is designing the characters. Tooyama began drawing the supernatural romance manga in Nakayoshi in October 2018 and ended the first part in July 2022. The second part debuted in December that year. | @RedChrome Vampires in the modern sense originated as a metaphor for repressed sexuality in Victorian culture (for example, the archetype of bisexual and lesbian vampires is already found in the two very first and largest works of the genre), so you just can't write the genre work without it. |

| @Kineta I haven't read the original manga, but manga resources seem to imply that this is a girl-oriented ecchi with classic tropes for such work. I'm even curious what it will look like in the end. |
