guys it won't be the masterpiece of all time, (indeed in some ways and also quite mediocre), and although it has many flaws (which a good direction could help to fill), I think this work deserves an adaptation done as you can see, although seen as an anime in its own right, it could be a pleasant viewing, it is known that during the course of the show, the anime takes a different path from the manga, changing many things that really shouldn't have been changed, such as the death of some characters, I would like this work to have an anime done properly, as is happening with demon slayer. what do you think about it ?

I have no idea about the flaws and mediocre you speak of…

But if they did remake it, change the ending to more like the written material, her not being alone
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I don't think it'll get a remake, or be on the level of DS. I'm fine with the ending, as there were certain deaths I'm fine didn't see getting into the anime, and characters getting in. I'm sure we all know who I'm talking about.

I think a remake should happen if there is a possibility. After reconsideration it’s got to be one of the ‘meh’ experiences I had. Don’t get me wrong the characters are nice, the animation was decent and the concept of ‘Imperial Arms’ as powers are unique, since they are rare and provide access to creativity with how to use them. The real issue I have is the direction it went (by not following the manga’s route) as well as how basic it felt overall.

So while it may not be on a similar scale to Demon Slayer, I do think a remake will possible make the anime even greater than what we ended up with in the first place.

This anime/manga is average at its best, I don't think a remake will be necessary someday, at least made by humans, but who knows right? in 20 years or even less you will ask an A.I. for a remake of it. and you will receive it in minutes/seconds...

Most likely akame ga kill needs a better story for a remake to happen.

Why do you want a remake? The current version totally holds up. If anything they should make a sequel based on the concept in Hinowa ga Crush! but actually have the story focus on Akame, the history behind her sword, and reveal other cool stuff.

The current version is good and still holds water, but the manga is a much better version of the story. If they did make it it’d literally be a Full Metal Alchemist situation.

My take on this topic is also that they should change the story if they are going for a remake because agk is already good in it's own way.

Doubt they'll ever make a remake in the next 10 years, I mean, why would they? It's good enough as it is right now

@animedude1287 The anime doesn't convey what the original work is at all... it would need a properly done remake

@The_Chad04 What you say is understandable but the anime skips a lot of things and changes others, one thing I would have liked to see for example is Esdeath's true power in action...

Remake tokyo ghoul first.
@Saynarra What does that have to do with anything ? okay that Tokyo Ghoul also deserves a remake but I don't understand how it is related to Akame ga kill...

@DioBrando_69420 Already read it and it's a real shame that the anime didn't convey many things from the manga

@GritsAnimeShit However, the Trigger study style does not suit Akame ga kill 😅

@Spectre1618675 the story is good, and made it look like it could perhaps be improved, but even so the anime made everything worse like with Tokyo Ghoul

@TruINTP What are you talking about ? the anime doesn't stand up to the manga in the slightest, at a certain point it starts cutting things and inventing others for no apparent reason, once you read the manga however many things were clearer, this is to make people understand the terrible job this adaptation did. .. anyway they should make an anime of Akame ga kill 0 too for that matter
