Tatsuya oishi (the director of the film) said in a interview that he was been working on this reboot/compilation for 6 years ( the original movies took 5 years to make) he also said that this movie is completely re-edited, re-done, with voice reworks, music reworks, and a new opening

I'm honestly impressed with the effort the team is putting on this, I can say that this wasn't something I expected

I'm kind of expecting for this remake film to flop or whatever, let's see how it will turn out to be.
