| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I don't know what to think of this show. There are scenes I find stupid, they're supposed to be funny but I can't laugh at them. The next minute they show some really hilarious stuff I laugh at. And at some other point the story has a really serious tone to it. Episode was good. :) |

| For some reason I expected more after episode 1. It felt like another first episode, and Kaoru is starting to go on my nerves, even though I liked her acting like an old man in the first episode. |

| Episode 2 was actually the very first chapter of the manga, which might explain why it felt like a first episode. |

| For those two episodes the show did quite good and is mostly quite funny. The first episode mostly only concentrated on jokes while the second now got some more serious stuff involved. I'll definitely continue watching this. |

| The plot is pretty predictable, the characters have typical personalities, it's got a standard mahou shoujo feel to it, the animation doesn't look all that great, the music isn't anything to write home about.... But I love it! Can't really explain it, but for some reason I'm liking this series. Probably Hirano Aya's voice playing tricks on my mind, or something. |

| holy crap it IS 52 eps long.... WHY? i'd be amazed if this show got any better. i can barely handle it because that retard girl with the red hair is annoying as hell. and its not funny at all.. i'm guessing its going to be a long running series because it probably appeals to the younger audience. keeps the little ones busy. |

| Highlight of the episode was the tour of the Babel tower. I suspect there are more serious arcs to come but it's good to see such funny introductory sequences (particularly when you know what fate and premonitions might have in store for Kaoru). |

| It was a pretty good episode, thanks to the second part. The humor was nice as well. I'm still kinda disturbed by the grown-up appearance the children have, especially Aoi and Shiho. |

| Ahh... the weirdo's of BABEL... Again, some comedy here, but this anime really does start off weak. Minamoto makes a good showing as a man, here, in trying to protect Kaoru ... though one would think his protecting her from her own powers to be a futile attempt if she can crater cement to begin with, his soft fleshy human meat body isn't going to make a whole lot of difference in the end... so one would think. To any would-be droppers - you probably shouldn't drop this one, it gets good. If you venture on to the manga, it gets even better. |
